Léo is a woman from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). She is fluent in French, Spanish, and English. She has worked as a consultant/formator with national and international NGOs in areas of Governance and Gender programs, particularly on political participation in Peru, Cameroon, and the DRC. She has published six articles in Asian Horizons, Congo-Afrique, TELEMA, and Sojourners magazine. In 2016, her paper “Christological Foundations for Political Participation: Women in the Global South Building Agency as Risen Beings” was published in the Journal of Political Theology.
She holds a Master of Arts in Theological Ethics from the Catholic Theological Union, Chicago. And is currently a doctoral student at Boston College.
